Code Enforcement
The purpose of the Code Enforcement Board is to protect, promote and improve the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the City by providing an equitable, expeditious, effective and inexpensive method of ensuring compliance with ordinances in force within the City.

Contact City Hall with any property maintenance issues at (270) 762-0300.
The City of Murray Code of Ordinances contains a
Property Maintenance
Code segment that is to be followed. All commercial buildings are
inspected once a year by the City of Murray Fire Marshal. Single family
dwellings are not inspected on an ongoing basis. If an inspection is
desired for an existing residential structure, contact a private home
inspector. If there is a safety issue with a building in the City of
Murray and notification needs to be made, please notify the City of
Murray Building Official, Keith Miller (270) 762-0350 x1135.
