North 7th Street between Olive and
Chestnut will only be open to residents on Saturday, July 31st from
4:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
The City of Murray is beginning the annual
milling and paving on Monday, July 26th. The streets
being milled and paved are as follows:
- Martin Chapel Road
- Fleetwood from Wiswell to
Larkspur - Larkspur from Fleetwood to Azalea - Poplar from 12th
to 10th - N. 8th from Olive to Sharpe - N. 10th from Sharpe to
Chestnut - Payne from 10th to 8th - Michelle Ct. - Valleywood
from Hillwood to deadend.

The following are Political Sign
Regulations: * Permitted in all zones and districts. *
Kept on private property with the permission of the property owner.
* Limited to eight square feet in size. * Bottom of sign being no
higher than two feet from ground level. * One sign per candidate, per
lot. *Must be removed within fourteen days after election.
*Campaign signs on public property such as traffic signs, utility
light poles or buildings are prohibited and if found, will be removed
at the cost of the candidate. * Should be keep ten feet inside of
property line and out of the clear zone at intersections for safety

meters, and fire hydrants free from obstruction.
ATTENTION TO ANYONE CONDUCTING A YARD SALE IN MURRAY: Per City
Ordinance, any off-site signage (i.e. directional sign or other sign
which notes the location of a yard sale) is PROHIBITED and subject to
removal. You may have one yard sale sign, at the location of the sale,
