At the present time the Murray Fire Department has a working force of thirty-three firefighters whose duties and responsibilities are the saving of lives and property in the City of Murray. The department office is staffed by one administrative assistant who maintains fire records, training records, employee records, and performs various other clerical tasks.

The Murray Fire Department has two stations within the City of Murray. Station I (headquarters) is located in the old City Hall Building at 207 S. 5th St., and Station II is located at 301 South 16th Street. Headquarters can be reached at 270-762-0320. If there is an emergency, dial 911.
