Long Term Goals

The goals of our administration are to promote the Murray Fire Department, upgrade equipment and expand all areas and branches of the department as the need arises. Our priority is to provide the best possible fire protection for each tax dollar spent, while maintaining awareness for the safety of our employees. The City of Murray presently holds a class ?4? rating. It is the goal of this administration to maintain or improve this I.S.O. rating via adequate area coverage, purchasing of new equipment, continual upgrading of existing equipment, and specialized education and training of personnel.
