Request for Public Involvement on
Road Projects

The Kentucky General Assembly
passed the 2004-2006 Budget in March, 2005 which includes a section that relates
to the Municipal Road Aid Program. The Transportation section of the
2004-2006 Budget Modification Report states that $25,000,000 shall be
distributed to Kentucky municipalities and urban areas in accordance with KRS
177.365,
177.366, and
177.369.

The Mayor, City Council
and administration would like to ask the public, through this
website, what road, transportation and/or sidewalk projects they are interested in
seeing addressed through these available funds. To receive funding the City of
Murray is required to make application to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet shall then oversee the distribution of funds
based on applications made by cities in Kentucky. Please fill out the form below
and press “submit.” The City of Murray thanks you for your interest.
